1. Feeding System: The feeding system of the EPS molding machine is used to evenly add EPS particles into the molding machine. Generally, an automatic feeding system is used, which feeds the EPS particles from the storage tank into the screw compressor via a transmission device, ensuring uniform heating and melting of the particles.
2. Screw Compactor: The screw compactor is the core component of the EPS molding machine. It transmits and heats the EPS particles through a high-speed rotating screw. The screw compactor is equipped with a heater, which heats the EPS particles to their melting point.
3. Foaming System: The foaming system of the EPS molding machine utilizes the EPS particles, heated and transferred by the screw compactor, to expand under certain temperature and pressure conditions. Normally, the EPS particles release an expanding agent after heating, causing the particles to expand. Simultaneously, air enters the EPS particles through the air inlet, forming a closed-cell structure.
4. Cooling System: After the foaming process, the EPS molding machine uses a cooling system to rapidly cool the EPS particles, lowering their temperature and thus solidifying their shape. The cooling system typically uses water cooling, achieved through water spraying or a water bath.
